It was an honor to attend my great nephew's funeral and celebrate his life. He is such an inspiration to me. His unconditional love moved me. The service was done completely in Spanish for his wife, Erica, who does not understand English. She apologized but I feel it is I who should apologize for not knowing Spanish. She was elegant. Their daughter was a pure joy to watch. What an angel! It was so nice to see so many family members there. I wish that it was under different circumstances but it really did my heart good. My soul was rejuvenated with hugs from everyone. I love them all so much. I didn't have enough time to really visit with each and every one of them but I am hoping they will all make it to the reunion in July and I am going to bust my but to get there. I want my children to meet and get to know their cousins.
